Interesting Place In Melaka - A Famosa and Stadhuys

A Famosa

Remnants Invasion Portuguese Fort A Famosa is a landmark of Malacca. The fort built by the Portuguese in 1511 is supposedly invincible opponents withstand attacks coming from the sea . But the fort was destroyed by the attack were fired from the Netherlands, but the front of the imposing fort is still intact to this day . A'Famosa fort built of red stone blocks are not uniform in shape and in front of the fortress there sebilah iron cannon used by visitors to display self-indulgent .

Stadhuys

Stadhuy red Dutch Square Building is known as the red building by the local population. Built in 1650 , this building is the official home of the Dutch Governor and his deputy . Stadhuys around the so-called Dutch Square , Christ Church church there over 250 years old , indoor fountains and a water mill as is often seen in the Netherlands . Stadhuys now deploy Museum of History, ethnography and literature for tourists.
